From Seed To Centerpiece

Another succession of plants has started to hit their stride on the farm and the blooms are abundant. My absolute favorite part of growing is being able to cut flowers at any time I feel like it and taking them inside to see what I can create. Being a floral designer is what led to me chasing this dream of having my own cutting garden which eventually turned into our flower farm. So being able to design on a whim, without having to visit a flower market or get in touch with a wholesaler is an absolute dream come true. Most of all, I love knowing where my flowers are coming from, how fresh they are, and knowing the time, effort and care that went into them. It makes every design I create that much more meaningful and magical. Lately I have been making more time for myself to design using only the blooms I’ve grown. To really take the time to appreciate the beauty that is coming off of the farm and showcasing it to the best of my ability. And also to show people that local and seasonal flowers can make a beautiful statement no matter what the occasion. Here is what I’ve been up to.
