As I thought about what I wanted to present to all of you this Holiday season, I thought very deeply about the feeling I wanted to share with you through my floral pieces. I spent countless hours pondering this and the theme for everything I found to be meaningful to me, was Intention and Inspiration.

I wanted every piece to be Inspired and Intentionally designed.

The Inspiration behind our Holiday Collection is exactly what is sounds like, Peppermint & Cedar. When I think of the Holiday Season, I can’t help but think of the smell of peppermint bark on dessert tables or the sticky fingers you’re left with after enjoying a candy cane you popped off of the Christmas tree after family dinner. I am reminded of the lace-like pattern and the fresh aroma of cedar boughs running down the center of family dining tables or effortlessly draped over mantles decorated with stockings.

It was very important to me that I found a way to ensure that this inspiration was represented intentionally through my designs. I wanted the color palette and placement of each flower to intentional. It was important that the negative space throughout each design was chosen with intention to showcase the shape and personality of each stem and petal.

This led to the very intentional decision to leave foliage out of our Peppermint Centerpiece, so that the inspiration behind this design could truly be represented. The same is true for our decision to create an all foliage design with our Cedar Centerpiece. I have also created an option for those who enjoy both peppermint AND cedar with the Peppermint & Cedar Centerpiece!
